My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Mrs. Missy

Mrs. Missy

I am kind of a look back kinda girl.
I do look forward to the future and
completely enjoy the quote...

"Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
But, today is a gift.
That is why it is called the present."

Wonderful, right?

But sometimes, I just miss things, people, times in my life. Like...

Getting a pay check on Friday and blowing the whole thing by Saturday. (NO BILLS)

Tan M&M's

Playing in the neighborhood till way after the sun went down.

Mel Gibson when he wasn't crazy.

Big Stuff Oreos

My Trapper Keeper (I had a purple one!)

Caboodles (Weren't those just the best to hold all of your blue eyeshadow in?!)

Wearing perfume that you could buy at the grocery store.

What do you miss?

  1. Check out my recent blog post about some stuff I miss...I even had a M&M's poster with the tan ones!

  2. I was just thinking about some of the things I miss this past weekend.
    I miss:
-The candy store that was in the home of one of our neighbors (cool, right?)
    -Deer Valley Turkey Chili
    -Original Strawberry Shortcake dolls
-Driving up Provo Canyon on a summer night
-Moonlit winter nights playing in the snow up Provo Canyon
-Staying in bed all Saturday in the days before kids
    -Spontaneous roadtrips
-Going to Timp drive in movies with my family in the Jeep Wagoneer
    -Camping in the backyard

  3. I still have my caboodle. Ha, under my bed. I don't even remember what is in it now. It did have all my make up at one time. I miss those summer days and some of the other stuff.

  4. That would have been me, not tom. He was signed in my xoom. I miss not having to share my toys. Lol.

  5. Awww ... this totally made me smile. I had that Forever Young poster in my room (shudder!)

  6. I totally forgot about those tan m&m's! Crazy! And the caboodles they have now are awesome! They hold so much and are really cute!

  7. REAL Jell-O pudding pops, Hardees, and Lick-em-maids.

  8. I miss you and the good times we had.

  9. Oh, Forever Young... we saw that in Vegas with you. I think that was the first time I had really seen Mel Gibson, and I was smitten. Good memories...
