I recently confessed I am on a berry kick lately. Everything BERRIES! Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Talking to a few friends it seems like I am not the only one who thinks they are extra sweet this year. Maybe it's just here in Texas, but I sure hope not!
I've been trying to use them in a new way other than just eating them.
We really only drink soda when we eat out. We don't eat out that often so soda has become a treat for us. For Mother's Day my husband brought home some of our favorite blueberry soda for me to savor. As I was drinking an ice cold bottle of it, it came to me that I could make it.
1/4 cup Blueberry Syrup per serving
12-16 oz cold club soda or sparkling mineral water
1. Fill a large glass half with ice.
2. Pour syrup into a large glass.
3. Add in club soda.
4. Gently stir to combine. Don't over stir then your soda will become flat.
5. Serve immediately.
