S’more Bars

It seems like one of summer’s signature treats are s’mores.  There is just something about the combination of a crispy graham cracker, ooey toasted marshmallow and melted smooth chocolate that I find irresistible!

With this recipe, you won’t ever need to fire up the grill or pack up the camping tent.  You can have s’mores whenever you want!

Makes 20 Bars

1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups (about 2 sleeves) graham crackers, crushed
2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

Preheat
oven to 350. In a medium bowl, mix together butter and 1 1/2 cups crumbs. Press into
the bottom of 9×13 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips, marshmallows, and
remaining crumbs on the top. Evenly pour milk over the bars. Bake 15-20
minutes until medium golden brown.  Remove from the oven and immediately run a knife around the edges.  Cool completely (about 1/2 hour) before cutting.  Store in an airtight container.
