The last time I was at Disneyland was

25 years ago.

You better believe when I planned this three day trip I was going to try to fit it all in.

And yet I only scratched the surface.

I’m only pretending to be a Disney influencer, but make sure you save this video if you are going anytime in the future.

When I knew I was going, I found videos just like this super helpful in planning exactly what food I wanted to try so I can make the most of my trip.

this was a three day trip to Disneyland and DCA.

Yes.
Yes. I did.

but seriously, they make some cute candy that needs to be on display.

So whether it’s Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas or Valentine’s Day, candy is an easy go to decoration. Just pull the color ways you want and go for it!

What would be a candy too dangerous to put out?
For me it would have to be Reese’s PB Pumpkins!

Looking back on it, I think it was then

I first discovered food can connect you to people.

Being a recipe and food blogger sometimes I feel like I am just providing fluff content.

Everyone needs to eat, but food can be so mundane most days.

Then I am quickly reminded about the stories you share with me when you have created my recipes and made memories with your family and friends.

Make the recipes.
Gather your people.
Eat the food.

I served this to 17 women last weekend (most I had just met) and I didn’t even try this recipe once.

I knew it would be good, though.

Yes, I know. I know.

Costco has churros that are big and cheaper.

But are they as good?

Not even close.

Did I spend too much on a little fried dough dipped in cinnamon and sugar?

Debatable.

Do you remember years ago when there was

a legit copy cat recipe site you could search for all of your favorite restaurant menu items?

This was way before blogs that were written by home cooks like me.

If these Mini Chicken Breakfast Sandwiches were around back, then these would’ve been included for sure.

They are spot on for all of our favorite chicken fast food place!

My three teenage boys requested these weekly and I’ve even made them as an afterschool snack!

It would take you less time to

make these at home than it would to drive to a certain chicken establishment and place your order.

Unless you’re lucky and live close to that certain chicken establishment.

My boys request these release twice a week. So easy and fast to make and taste very, very similar to the original.

They are my copy cat version of a little breakfast sandwich from a popular chicken establishment.

It’s one of the menu items we always order if it’s before 10:30 AM Monday-Saturday.

IFYKYK!

My boys think I’m the coolest mom on the planet when I make these. My oldest took some to school and his friends had thought he had actually stopped off and bought these on the way. He ended up sharing them and these 17-year-olds claimed they were better than the original. I will take that as the ultimate compliment!

I never thought I would ever say this, but could

we get more Halloween songs to choose from?

Now, I love me a good Monster Mash (and that’s not even the name of the song!) and the music from Practical Magic as much as the next person.

But when you are trying to share all your cool Halloween recipes, I feel a tad annoying picking the same thing over and over!
