It’s almost the New Year and I’ve been thinking about what my goals are going to be. I’m trying to take each aspect of what my responsibilities are and the one I want to spend extra time is meal prep and planning for my family. The older my boys get, the more busy I find myself trying to keep up with homework, volunteering at the school, after school activities, and piano lessons!
Dinner is something I want to be ahead of the game with so I’ve been thinking about easy and quick meals I can make. Pizza is always a go to meal and we absolutely love the Freschetta Naturally Rising Canadian Bacon and Pineapple and the Freschetta Naturally Rising 4-Cheese Pizzas.
Freschetta is one of our favorite choices for frozen pizza for two reasons. You can totally taste the freshness and the dough is perfect blend of 3 grains that are kneaded and rolled creating a wonderful crust! My oldest son loves it the best!
I wanted to mix it up and make some delicious dipping sauces to go along with the Freschetta pizzas.
Here’s the recipe for Sweet BBQ Ranch Dip.
1 Cup Ranch Dressing
1/2 Cup Mesquite BBQ Sauce
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved and everything is well combined.
Serve with the Canadian Bacon and Pineapple pizza.
The slightly sweet sauce goes really well with the slightly sweetness of the pineapple.
I love to serve this second sauce with the 4-Cheese pizza. My husband loves how spicy it is!
Here’s the recipe for the Buffalo Chicken Dip.
1 Cup Mayonnaise
1/2 Cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
1/2 Cup Chicken, Cooked and Shredded
Mix all the ingredients together until well blended.
I truly do like Freschetta Naturally Rising Pizzas. And what’s even
better is that my kids especially love it! When you have picky eaters,
that’s a huge deal!
This makes for an easy and yummy dinner, but this would be great to serve at a party as well!
